This study was carried out to find out to what extent biodegradable domestic waster and effluents could be used as feed for fish culture in Nigeria. To identify the types of wastes and effluents, and also the health implication associated with the consumptions of such fishes. To achieve this, three research questions were postulated. A simple survey design was used for the study with a ten item questionnaire of yes or no was used for data collection. A total of ten (10) respondents were randomly sampled from the population while a simple percentage was used for data analysis. The findings show that: 1. Biodegradable domestic wastes and effluents can be used for fish culture. 2. The consumption of fishes grown with these biodegradable domestic wastes and effluents have no negative health implications. The implications for teaching and learning were discussed.
